She is a Certified Dental Assistant with more than five years of experience at Dr. Michelle Cartier Orthodontics, where she is a valued member of the front desk team. Over the years, she has had the pleasure of getting to know so many wonderful patients and families and loves being part of their orthodontic journey from their very first visit to the moment they see their beautiful new smiles.
Known for her warm personality, caring nature, and positive energy, she always strives to make every patient feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. She is organized, dependable, compassionate, and always happy to lend a helping hand. Whether she’s answering questions, helping families navigate their appointments, or simply putting a smile on someone’s face, she loves making each visit a little more enjoyable.
After more than five years with Dr. Michelle Cartier Orthodontics, she feels incredibly grateful to be part of such a special team and to play a role in creating beautiful smiles, lasting memories, and positive experiences for patients and their families.
Meet Allison
Say hello to Allison, one of our amazing Certified Dental Assistants! With 5+ years in the orthodontic world, Allison knows how to make patients feel comfortable, confident and right at home in the chair.
She works alongside Dr. Cartier to help provide the best possible care—from routine adjustments to more involved procedures—and she’s always ready with a smile (and probably a few good laughs, too!).
One of Allison’s favorite parts of her job is patient education. She loves explaining each step along the way so patients know exactly what to expect and feel comfortable throughout their orthodontic journey.
When she’s not at the office, Allison is busy making memories with her toddler and family! She loves discovering new restaurants, trying exciting cuisines, and finding new adventures to enjoy together.
Meet Patricia Spettell
I grew up in Brooklyn New York, and received a BA in Political Science from Brooklyn College. My family bought a summer home in Hampton Bays in 1969 and we started spending all of our summers out on the east end. I always said I would love to retire out here one day.
After working for Barnes & Noble Bookstore for 35 years I retired in 2015 and moved out here permanently. I started working part time at Dr. Cartier’s office in 2017.
Although it was very different from the work I was previously familiar with I enjoyed learning about orthodontics, and found both Dr. Cartier & her staff very welcoming and have grown close to them over the past 9 years.
My favorite part about the job has always been about the patients.
Helping them feel comfortable about the orthodontic process, and assisting them as they go thru treatment has always been a priority for me. Watching them complete treatment and seeing them leave the office with a beautiful smile is always very exciting.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family I am one of 6 siblings and I have 9 nieces and nephews, and 2 grand nephews that keep me very busy during the summer months. I enjoy reading and gardening, and spend as much time on the beautiful beaches out here throughout the summer months.
